chrislcrews Posted December 27, 2016 Posted December 27, 2016 To my fellow brothers out there who bought a 14 - 15 sierra. I notice they are keeping this new design for the 16 and prolly will for 4 or 5 years. Does it annoy you that our trucks front and rear ends are different? I feel left out especially when I bought my truck new Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Arth Posted December 27, 2016 Posted December 27, 2016 Sort of annoyed. Didn't do my homework and picked up a truck with the 6 speed. It isn't the worst transmission but I would have preferred to have the 8 speed. Everything else that the 16s+ have that I want, I can add to my truck. Headlights, tail lights, navigation, android auto, etc...
LongrangeLauber Posted December 27, 2016 Posted December 27, 2016 MY 18 they are releasing the T1XX platform, so they are changing it quickly Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk
07Softail Posted December 27, 2016 Posted December 27, 2016 I Love my 14 since i fixed the Chevy Shake I had, the only thing I like about the new trucks is the Hood on the 17 HD. RT
Donstar Posted December 27, 2016 Posted December 27, 2016 I suspect that most people can't tell the difference between a clean (NBS) 07 and a new 17! I am not bothered by the tweaks on the '16 and '17 trucks, I like the looks of my '15!
vonshep Posted December 27, 2016 Posted December 27, 2016 i actually like the front of the 15 better than the 16 i thought they tried to make the front end more dodgeish in 16 i like the classic bookcase look

Never heard of it being MY 18. We would of seen spy shots already. I'm saying 2019

Jeffro19 Posted December 27, 2016 Posted December 27, 2016 Ok gotcha. Yeah don't see it happening that soon. Still thinking MY 19. I'm sure we will be seeing some spy shots next year sometime. Very Curious on what they will be changing
last truck Posted December 27, 2016 Posted December 27, 2016 I Love my 14 since i fixed the Chevy Shake I had, the only thing I like about the new trucks is the Hood on the 17 HD. RT how did you fix the shake?
SkiDooNick700 Posted December 27, 2016 Posted December 27, 2016 I dunno how I feel about it. I kind of wish I would of held out for a 16 I guess, I keep reading on here that some really minor things were tweaked and those who went from 14/15s to 16+ seem to be happier with their 16+. On the other hand, I bought the exact configuration Ive been dreaming of since college, so, Im happy.
MonkeyMouth Posted December 27, 2016 Posted December 27, 2016 I love the look of the 15. It actually looks rugged. How (I think) a truck should be. The new front end looks too sporty. Even the hood. I understand that it might help with aerodynamics, but still. I want my truck to look like it can get the job done. (My opinion.)
SlavO Posted December 27, 2016 Posted December 27, 2016 Had a 14 great truck, sold it a friend but I wanted the new style. I've no Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
amxguy1970 Posted December 28, 2016 Posted December 28, 2016 Short answer to the OP no, because I am an adult and I know things change. I won't cry or whine or feel entitled if something newer comes out after the fact because things constantly change and you will never have the latest and greatest for very long (look at phones...). If you feel that way you just did not do your homework, there are plenty of clues some changes are coming so if you bought old that is on you. BTW, why are we talking about this now, the 16's have long been out and the 17's are already out... Also I say MY 19 at the earliest for a new truck, I haven't seen any spy shots or anything indicating MY 18, if that was the case we would be seeing them this winter at Detroit for a summer launch for MY 18.
